Biography: I am Priyalatha Madhushanthi Kirisenage. I was born and raised in Sri Lanka. I completed my undergraduate studies at University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka and then came to the United States in 2021 for my MS degree. I completed my MS at Central Michigan University in 2023 under the guidance of Dr. Anja Mueller. My MS research work was focused on synthesis of molecularly imprinted polymers for the removal of arsenate and caffeine from water. Then I started my PhD at UT Austin in 2023 fall. During my free time, I like to write poems, watch movies and listen to music.
