Biography:  Hongxu was born in Henan province, China. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Chemistry from Zhengzhou University, then studied in Department of Chemistry at University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2016 under the supervision of Prof. S. Thayumanavan and received his Ph.D. degree in August 2021. He joined Anslyn lab as a postdoctoral researcher from September 2021. His research focuses on peptide synthesis and specific labeling for single-molecule fluorosequencing.
