Biography: I was born and raised in Sacramento, CA and I completed my B.S. in biochemistry at Sacramento State University. During my time at Sac State I conducted undergraduate research with Dr. John D. Spence that focused on synthesis and SAR studies of light-activated quinoxalenediynes. In 2021 I moved to Texas to start my PhD in chemistry and joined the Anslyn lab. In my free time I enjoy watching movies, playing sand volleyball, paddle boarding, hot yoga, and running on the lady bird lake trail.
